Radio, Electronics and Computer Rally
Once again and in line with many others, we have to postpone the annual rally…we are optimistic that 2022 will bring us all back again.
The Spalding Rally, first held in the early 1970’s, has become a well established event in the annual rally calendar. It was held at the Sir John Gleed School for many years as many of you know. Unfortunately, the newly organised Spalding Academy does not host any third party events anymore and we have had to find new premises.
Rally will be held at:
Holbeach United Youth FC
This modern venue is located just a few miles outside Spalding, just off the A17 main road towards Kings Lynn. It has an indoor hall for traders to set up tables and a large outdoor area for further traders and car booters. There is also a large separate area available for parking on one of the football fields.
Please note that as the rally is being held on playing fields used by young people, dogs are not permitted anywhere within the site including the car park.
Parking and Entry
For indoor traders and those of you holding Blue Badges we have reserved a separate car park close to the event hall, food area, toilets and outside pitches.
Entry to the rally will be £3.00 per person.
Car boot pitches will be free.
If you wish to book a table please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for the latest booking situation and we will do our best to meet your needs.
Indoor tables are charged at £10.00 per table and includes entry for 2 people.
If tables are booked and paid for before the end of April then they are available for the discounted price of £8.00.
The table booking form and information can be found here (PDF) or here (DOCX).
The rally venue is located a short way north off the A17 towards Kings Lynn.
A map of the location can be found here.
If approaching the rally site from the Kings Lynn direction please be very careful if turning right off the A17 towards the Rally Site. This is a very busy road!
When leaving the rally be warned, TURNING RIGHT out of Penny Hill Road onto the A17 can be DANGEROUS.
For your safety, when leaving the rally and wanting to head West on the A17 it is strongly advisable to turn right out of the rally car park and follow the country lane, turning left at each road junction, and you will join the A17 at the nearby roundabout.
Please note that there is a relatively new roundabout where the A151 from Spalding joins the A17 which may not show on older maps.
