The
meeting commenced at 20.00 hours.
The
minutes on the 2014 AGM were read out and
approved.
The
Chairman spoke of the past year's events including the Annual
Rally, Christmas Meal, exam successes, caravan.

The
Treasurer presented his report and highlighted the membership
had fallen slightly to 38, fund raising for a
replacemnet to the old porta-cabin, rent for the club
rooms increased slightly, donations and the rally
takings.
The club
at present is in a very healthy situation.

Vacant, once again this position is to remain vacant,
we will continue to monitor this, should the need arise

SUBSCRIPTIONS
This
year’s subscriptions,despite a large financial outlay last
year, we are able to hold the subscription once again
to £15

BUSINESS
Andrew
G8BYB suggested a slight change in the clubs constitution, on
the clause regarding the number of members voting at a
Ex AGM from 20 members present to 35% of the membership
present. A majority show of hands agreed
unanimously.
Andy M0PXY
would like the club to participate in Windmills on the air and
Lighthouses on the air, it was agreed we would find
suitable sites and would liaise with Graham G8NWC to
progress this. Andy also stated that he had booked a
week off in June to operate the GB4OO special call.
Graham
G8NWC presented the Diary for the coming year, highlighting
key note speakers had been arranged to give talks and
presentations, he asked that the members support these
by attendance, some are travelling some distance to
give these.
Graham also mentioned that discussions
are underway to have suitable branded T shirts and the
like for the special call and 50th
anniversary.
Paul G1LSB
suggested that we also had a small BBQ social in June/July for
those who cannot make it in September due to contest
commitments.
Jim G0HGH
mentioned the club would be using G4OO and GB4OO during the
year with a lot of operation from the Caravan shack,
mainly on Thursday and Friday evenings, it was also
agreed that we need to arrange a rota for the use of
GB4OO during June.
Ambrose
M0DJA mentioned he is still in possession of some old club
photos and certificates that need sorting/archiving as
some are in some distress.
Presentation
of awards was undertaken, photo's etc will be available
soon, congratulations to all winners.
