Minutes
of the Annual General Meeting Held on 16th
January 2009 at 7.30 P.M. in the upstairs
function room, Castle Swimming Pool, Spalding.

Members Present (7 apologies of absence were received.)
The
meeting started at 19.30 hours.
The
minutes on the 2008 AGM were read out and approved.
Agreed unanimously.
The
Chairman spoke of the past year's events and the fact
that it had been a rewarding year for the club with many set
targets being achieved. The Gleed school
having been booked again for another rally, A junk
sale arranged for February, he also spoke of the VHF
contests, South Holland award and the Christmas Dinner.

The
treasurer announced that income is quite a bit up this year,
however the rally income was up on the previous year. The
junk sale provided a modest income on previous years.
The repeater fund has had several donations and the
Award generated some income.
The club
at present is in a very healthy situation.

SUBSCRIPTIONS This
years subscriptions were set to remain the same at the fee of
£10 Agreed unanimously.
ANY
OTHER BUSINESS
Bob G1ZJP suggested
that we all try to make an effort to support the
VHFCC UKAC contests, the club finished last year at
5th place, a very good result for the club. He added that he
would assist in explaining the procedure and logging etc, if
needed.
John G4NBR asked if Bob
G1ZJP would help in finding a suitable antenna for 6M
to erect at the club station, this would have to be a
low profile type.
John G4NBR reminded the
floor of the club's rally in June and stressed that
we try to keep it mentioned on the air etc: and that
we will hopefully build on the continued success.
Bob G1ZJP offered his
and Carol's services for large photo's of activities
and members shacks etc: for any displays.
Graham M0GRP offered a
vote of thanks for the continued work by John G4NBR
on the licence training, and his help in him
obtaining his, he also suggested a new members pack of info re
the clubs officers and contacts etc:
Graham G8NWC reminded
the floor that any info for the club newsletter,
however small is always welcome.
