Treasurer's Report, presented at the 2009 AGM.

The club has 46 paid up members this year including 4 honorary members, this is slightly down on last year but only  by three members

so the membership seems to have found a fairly even level now.  We still have a few people who join for a year and then don't renew their membership again, this isn't too much of a problem at the moment as this is offset by new people joining.

The rally this year was quite a bit up on last year possibly due to better weather and the tremendous effort put in by all who did the organising, let's hope the trend continues especially in the current economic climate.

The junk sale in February made a modest £65 after expenses but as this is also a social event the profit made was really worthwhile.

There have been two more claims for the South Holland Award this year so progress is steady with this award.

Donations this year have been very good with £40 being donated to the repeater fund and £75 to the club from Keith Davis G3TYR for services rendered to him by the club.

The insurance has gone up again this year, only a slight rise over last year presumably due to inflation and was to be expected.

The club room rent as also gone up this year which was also expected, this was a modest rise also and shouldn't pose any problems to the club's funds.

An FT857 has been purchased for the use in the caravan along with a power supply to power the radio.

A G5RV aerial has also been bought for the use at the club room, the old one was beyond repair and so it was decided to replace it.

Once again the club has managed to make a profit over the previous years so that can't be a bad thing especially with the current state of affairs. Also we haven't been mean with the money, buying the radio aerials etc., this was considered money well spent.

So once again the club is in a healthy state and thanks to all the members for making it so.
