Treasurer's Report, presented at the 2008 AGM.

 Treasurers report for 2007

The clubs income this year is quite a bit up on last year so at the present time the club is in a very healthy state.

The subs are up by five members on last year which includes five honorary members. This makes the membership still very good although we have had some old members who have joined.

The rally was quite a bit down on last year. The weather could have been a contributing factor as the weather was really atrocious on the run up to the rally, but as it turned out the weather changed and turned out to be quite nice on the day and the turn out was very good.

The junk sale made £147.50p which was good compared to some of the sales we have had. This has helped to swell the funds somewhat as we didn't have any junk sales last year.

The repeater fund has had quite a few donations which is very nice and a big thank you to all of you who have donated. As yet we have had no expenses for the repeater but your donations will go to the running of the repeater in the future.

At present time there have been four Tulip Awards claimed, and as more claims come in this should help towards club funds.

Kenwood bonus scheme has made a donation to the club. This was for people who bought Kenwood equipment and mentioned the radio club at the time of purchase.

The insurance for 2007 was paid in December 2006 this was because of the Christmas holiday and we didn't want to overlook payment. This was shown on the 2006 balance sheet and will consequently not appear on the 2007 balance sheet. At this present time no renewal notice has been received from the insurers and so it will be shown on the 2008 balance sheet.

The club room rent has gone up by £16.74p which is a very modest rise and if this is to be about the average yearly increase then this shouldn't be a problem to the club.

The club has bought a soldering iron, packet decoder and some other useful items for the club members use, the full list is shown under miscellaneous expenses.

By far the two biggest expenses for the club are the club room and insurance, but at the moment are well offset by the income from the subs and rally income. So all in all the club is in a very healthy situation.
