Treasurer's Report, presented at the 2004 AGM.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.
The membership has again gone up even though we had to put the subscriptions up to £10. We now have 43 paid up members against 37 for last year. Also 3 members paid before the AGM and got their membership for £7.50,the old rate. This increase in membership is due to John's novice, Intermediate and full licence classes, which I believe are very well attended. Well-done John,

RALLY.
This years rally income was down on last year but also the expenses were down, this was mainly due to the fact that we did not have to invest in extra advertising or buy another rally banner so the actual difference was only about £100.

JUNK SALES.
The junk sales income was also down on last year. They are well advertised on the club net and website and parking is not too much of a problem. Brenda and her crew do sterling work with the bacon butties and tea; you don't know what you are missing. And of course Robin our auctioneer who also does a good job. You don't know what you're missing so come along next year.

MISC.
The Christmas dinner this year was at The Royal Mail Cart. We
had 37 people attend, which was a good turnout.
The raffle money, which raised £50 this year, went to the Jay Gee Dog Sanctuary; the dinner was as always break even.

A big thank-you to all the people who donated to the club, especially the two members who donated £100 each, and wish to remain anonymous.

Some of the proceeds have already gone into purchasing a new ATU, coax, plugs and various other pieces of equipment.

Our biggest expense of all this year was of course the new Clubroom, which cost us nearly £1900.

I think personally that if SHDC had played ball they could have saved us the expense of buying the caravan which cost us £1000, but we were virtually homeless and something had to be done.

The caravan was found at Boston Hospital and purchased, (Thanks for finding it Danny.)

It then cost us a further £256 for planning permission to site the caravan at Alan's QTH, (Thanks for the offer Alan), This also caused us many problems mainly due to outside objections which I do not want to go into but which no doubt you all know about.

After all this SHDC found us our present clubroom which has cost us another £587 for one years rent but at least it serves our needs quite well. I think the best bonus is a separate room for the radios where members can operate in peace and quiet.

On a final note a big thank you to all the members who have given up their time and put a lot of hard work in to the move from the Old Firestation to our new clubroom.
