Chairman's Report, presented at the 2013 AGM.

2012 has been another good year for the club, the targets that were set have been achieved.  

The Gleed school has been booked for Sunday 2nd June Rally, thanks to a very succesful rally last year. The school is now an academy however facilities can be extended for further traders should the need arise.

 The Junk sale has been set for February 17th at the usual venue, Bromley Hall Pode Hole, please bring your junk - we aim to please all.

The club is actively using the callsigns for contests, the following positions are as follows 4th in 2m AFS, 2nd on 70cmUKAC and 2nd on 23cmUKAC.

 Due to decisions taken we still have up to another 2 years at the Castle Sports complex.  

The clubs equipment has been PAT tested for one year.  

The club has placed an applicationf or the Club of the Year award.  

Jim G0HGH is still running the morse classes on 2m on Monday evenings at 8pm.  

The usual fun-day was held which proved to be popular, working many stations and enjoying the BBQ, also a bonfire night was held.  

The club dinner was held at the Goat at Frognall a good time was had by all. This year the raffle was organized by the ladies from the Sue Ryder Foundation, £90 was raised and goes to the Sue Ryder Hospice.  

This coming Year will be hard due to financial restraints, therefore we must ask all members for their valued support.
